Iss wik I hid e pleasure o meetin Rose Reilly in e flesh.  I've been WhatsAppin wi Rose ivver since I stairtit tae screive oor Fitba Legends beuk bit iss wis e first time I'd met her in person.  Fit rare it wis.  Rose wis deein a Maisterclass fur Caledonian University in Glesga an we gaed doon tae see her. She telt puckles o e stories aat ye can read in e beuk an mair besides. She hid us aa in stiches lachin - I think she cud hae a second career as a comedian. I teen doon sum copies o e beuk fur her tae hae. Eddi Reader, fa's a freen o Rose's, wis ere an she speirt at ma fur ma autograph!  I wis fair trickit tae sign ma name on e beukie fur her. Bit e maist excitin news is aat Rose is gaun tae cum up tae e Nor-east neist year an dee sumthin wi's.  Canna wyte!  Fit a rare umman she is.

This week I had the pleasure of meeting Rose Reilly in the flesh.  I've been WhatsApping with Rose ever since I started to write our Fitba Legends book but this was the first time I'd met her in person.  It was great.  Rose was presenting a Masterclass for Caledonian University in Glasgow and we went down to see her. She told several of the stories that you can read in the book and more besides. She had us all in stiches laughing - I think she could have a second career as a comedian. I took down some copies of the book for her to have. Eddi Reader, who is a friend of Rose's, was there and she asked me for my autograph!  I was delighted to sign my name on the book for her. But the most exciting news is that Rose is going to come up to the North-east next year and do something with us.  Can't wait!  What an amazing woman she is.

We kicked off our latest book just in time for the World Cup!  Fitba Legends tells the stories of Denis Law and Rose Reilly - Scotland's two best football players.  Jackie was delighted to meet up with some of Dennis' family and hear what they thought of the book. She learnt a few family tales as well but she's not telling!  What a great ime she had with Diana, Gary, Ian and Diana.  So if you get fed up watching the warld Cup you can order a book from the website and have a grand read.  As well as learning about Denis and Rose, you'll pick up some interesting football facts as well.
