We are delighted to say that Foggie-bummer Rescue has been nominated in the Best Bairn's Beuk category at the Scots Language Awards 2025. It is a poem that tells the tale of a small girl who rescues an exhausted bee. The poem was runner -up in the Buchan Heritage Society poetry competition in 2022 and now Aaron Gale has added his beautiful illustrations to turn it into a wonderful children's book. It has a section on how to help exhausted bees and the glossary will help people who are new to Doric.
