It’s been a busy sax month ful o aa kine o acteevity:

• Jackie an Sheena feenisht aff a series o Doric Bairn Rhyme Time sessions.
• We did five Doric Blethers sessions in Care Hames inna. We gid tae Peterheid, Huntly, Banchory, Inverurie an Steenhive.  Fit a rare time we hid.
• Aaron an Jackie hiv deen a fair puckle talks tae Rotary Clubs – baith online an in person.
• We hid a gran time up at Foggie Gala, creatin a nyew tale aboot e polar bear wi e help o a puckle bairns.
• Jackie telt sum tales tae e bairns at Tullynessle Toddlers an she wint in tae twa skweels in e town tae tell tales as pairt o thir Doric lessons.
• Ere wis storytellin up at Macduff Marine Aquarium inna.
• We’ve been wirkin hard on oor nesit twa beuks – ‘The Tint Aig’ an ‘Cedric e Flapper Skate’. They shud baith be published afore lang.

What have we done in the first half of 2022?

It’s been a busy six months full of all sorts of activity:

• Jackie and Sheena finished of a series of Doric Bairn Rhyme Time sessions.
• We did five Doric Blethers sessions in Care Homes as well. We went to Peterhead, Huntly, Banchory, Inverurie an Stonehaven.  What a super time we had.
• Aaron and Jackie have given several talks to Rotary Clubs – both online and in person.
• We had a great time up at Aberchirder Gala, creating a new tale about the polar bear with the help of some children.
• Jackie told some tales to the youngsters at Tullynessle Toddlers and she went to two schools in Aberdeen to tell tales as part of their Doric lessons.
• There was storytelling up at Macduff Marine Aquarium as well.
• We’ve been working hard on our next two books – ‘The Tint Aig’ and ‘Cedric e Flapper Skate’. They should both be published before long.
